INVIA

Free, Pro and Organizer

What each INVIA plan includes: Free, Pro at $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year, Organizer at $79.99 a year, the 14-day trial, what is never gated, and how upgrading and billing work.

Last checked against the live app on 3 September 2026.

Every account opens with 14 days of Pro, and no card is required. You get the full Pro feature set, so you can judge the paid features on your own routes. When the 14 days end the account continues as Free.

Your routes, rides, collections and waypoints are all still listed. Nothing you built is deleted, because the trial ending changes which features you can reach and never touches what you have saved. To keep the Pro features after the trial, upgrade from Profile. Accounts and the Pro trial.

What each plan costs#

Plan Price
Free $0, no card required
Pro $9.99 a month, or $59.99 a year
Organizer $79.99 a year

Free#

Free covers route building, storage and a connected device. That is enough to plan a ride and load it onto your Garmin, so a Free account is a working account rather than a demonstration.

A Free account includes:

  • The four open road classes
  • Every basemap
  • All ride-area and trail pins
  • Tap to identify
  • The Explore community heat map
  • Garmin connect, import and send
  • Standard GPX export

Free limits how many of these one account holds:

  • 25 imported items
  • 10 routes you build and save
  • 3 collections
  • 5 device sends
  • 3 tracks saved from other riders in the community, counted for the life of the account

Every feature in the list above keeps working whatever those counts are, because Free caps quantity rather than capability. Pro removes all five limits, so upgrade to Pro when you run out of room rather than when you run out of features.

INVIA can change these counts without a new version of the app, so read them as the settings in force now rather than a fixed part of the plan. The plan picker never prints them, which is why it shows Limited against No limits instead of a number. When you reach one of the limits the app tells you which one you have used up, so you know what to clear out or what Pro would remove.

Pro#

$9.99 a month, or $59.99 a year, 50% off. Pro includes everything in Free and removes those limits. What you are paying for is trail-level map data, deeper control of your device and sharing a ride with other people. Pro adds:

  • The Single Track and ATV road classes
  • The extra Forest Service roads that were never published
  • Land boundaries on the map
  • Your personal heat map
  • The Garmin map builder: build, download and send custom .img maps
  • Device management: the advanced device file browser, deleting from the device, managing .img maps on it, bulk imports of 20 or more files
  • Library power tools: Smart Files filters, Organize, the clean-up tools, splitting multi-track files, collection map PDF export
  • Shareable tracking pages, live location sharing and the buddy map
  • Creating casual meet-ups
  • No limits on library, routes, collections or device sends

Offline maps and backroads routing#

The plan picker lists offline maps and backroads routing, so it is reasonable to go looking for them in a browser. Both are phone-app features. Neither is available on the web.

On the web the equivalent is the Garmin map builder, which builds a map you download and send to the device, so the map is stored on your Garmin. To use offline maps or backroads routing, open the INVIA phone app.

Organizer#

$79.99 a year, one rate, includes all of Pro. Organizer adds the event toolkit, so one person can give a whole group the same tracks, updates and tracking page:

  • Create events
  • Hand out every GPS track from one place
  • Run registration and a roster
  • Send updates and documents to everyone registered
  • Run a live tracking page for the event

Rider data stays private, because it reaches only the people on the roster.

The app has no button to buy Organizer. INVIA sets up Organizer accounts, so ask INVIA to set one up.

Never gated, on any plan#

These work on Free, Pro and Organizer, and they keep working when a trial ends and after a subscription ends, so a plan change never removes access to your own rides:

  • Connecting a device
  • Recording and keeping your rides
  • Exporting your own data

Emergency handoff is a promise rather than a feature you can use today, because INVIA has committed to keeping it free on every plan and has not built it yet. The emergency features you can use now are the emergency contact you save on your rider profile, and the SOS messages that arrive from a satellite tracker on an event's live tracking page.

Upgrading and billing#

  1. Open Profile, or choose any Pro prompt in the app.
  2. Read the plan picker.
  3. Choose Continue to checkout.
  4. Pay in Stripe.

The plan picker heading reads INVIA Pro. Under it is the line Free is the road map. Pro is single track.

The picker compares these rows, so you can see what changes before you pay:

  • Single Track and ATV trail classes
  • Extra Forest Service roads and the Clean Layer
  • Offline maps in the INVIA app
  • Live tracking
  • Library, routes, collections, device sends, shown as Limited against No limits

Continue to checkout opens Stripe, and you finish the payment there. Stripe shows Secure checkout by Stripe. Prices exclude applicable taxes., which means the price you read on the picker is before tax.

Monthly subscribers can choose Switch to annual, save 50%, which moves the account onto the yearly rate.

Cancelling#

  1. Open Profile.
  2. Cancel the subscription.

Pro access continues to the end of the paid period. On that date the account continues as Free, so the Pro list above stops working and the Free list above keeps working. Your routes, rides, collections and waypoints stay in the account, because cancelling ends the subscription and does not remove what you saved. The Subscription card.

Beta#

INVIA is in beta, so features and improvements ship continuously. A subscription includes every update, which means the rate you pay now covers what arrives later.
