Sidebar sections

Clicking a section header expands it and points the card grid at that section, so the sidebar and the cards beside it always show the same part of your library.

Routes#

Routes lists every route you built or imported, one row each, with a color dot, the name and the distance so you can tell two similar routes apart without opening either. A twisty on a row expands that route's waypoints, and clicking the row opens the item page. Until you build or import your first route, the section reads No routes yet.

Rides#

Rides works the same way for every ride you recorded, so a ride you rode and a route you planned stay in separate lists until you open All. Before your first recording, the section reads No rides yet.

Collections#

The Collections header is bold because collections are the one section you build yourself. + opens an inline Name... field that creates a collection on the spot, which means you can file something the moment you think of it rather than leaving the page.

Each collection is a tree, so expanding one shows its members and its own Waypoints group in place. Clicking a collection filters the grid to it and puts a breadcrumb bar above the cards with Map View and All Library, so you always have a way back out.

Hovering a collection shows Rename and Delete. Delete asks Delete "{name}"? first and tells you the items are not deleted, because a collection is a way of grouping things rather than a place they are stored.

What you see after you confirm:

• The collection is no longer in the sidebar.
• The grid stops filtering to it.

What still works:

• Deleting a collection does not delete the routes and rides inside it.
• Every item it held is still in Routes, Rides and All.

Until you make your first one, the section reads No collections yet.

Community Imports#

Community Imports appears only once you have saved something from another rider, and it keeps those saves apart so you always know what is yours to export. If the section is not in your sidebar, that is because you have not saved anything from another rider yet, so nothing is missing.

Waypoints#

Open waypoint map swaps the main panel for the waypoint library, which is where your pins are listed on their own map instead of under the routes that carry them. Waypoint library.

All#

All puts your rides and routes in one grid, which is the section to use when you are not sure whether the thing you want was recorded or planned. On a new account it reads Nothing yet.

Organize Library (Pro)#

Organize Library fills in the region for any item that lacks one, so your region filters cover the whole library instead of only the items that already carry a region. Run it when a region filter hides items you know you have, because those are the items with no region on them.

An account without Pro sees Organize is a Pro feature. in place of the button. Everything else in the sidebar keeps working, so the only thing you lose is the one-press fill-in.

Tags#

+ opens Tag name..., so you can label an item with your own word and pull up everything carrying that word later. Clicking a tag filters the grid to it, and hovering a tag shows rename and delete for fixing a word you got wrong or dropping one you stopped using. Delete asks Delete "#{name}"? first and tells you only that the tag will be removed from all items, because a tag is a label rather than a place items are kept.

What you see after you confirm:

• The tag is gone from this list, so nothing filters by it any more.
• If that tag was the filter you had open, the filter clears and the whole library comes back.

What still works:

• Deleting a tag does not delete the rides and routes that carried it.
• Every one of them stays in your library with its other tags, its collections and its file intact.

Make it again the same way if you need it back. Until you make your first one, the section reads No tags yet.

Smart Files (Pro)#

Smart Files stacks filters so they narrow together rather than replace one another, which is how you cut a large library down to the few items you want. The filters are Region, Year, Ride type, Surface and Difficulty, and Clear drops all of them at once so you can start over. Tags and Smart Files.
