The user manual
Every screen and every control in INVIA is documented in the user manual, which is the fastest way to an answer on anything you can do in the app. If your question is about a GPS, start at the Garmin and GPX guide instead: it covers connecting a unit, sending routes to it, pulling recorded rides back off it, and which memory card to use. Common questions are collected in the FAQ, and terms are defined in the glossary.
Getting help
Email us at [email protected] with what you were doing and what happened. If it involves a specific route, ride or event, sending us its name or link makes it much faster to sort out.
Reporting content or a rider
INVIA lets riders publish routes, rides and events, and we do not want anything on the platform that is abusive, misleading, or dangerous. You can report anything from inside the app:
- On a route or ride, open it and tap Report.
- On an event, scroll to the bottom of the event page and tap Report this event.
- On a rider's profile, tap Report.
You can also email [email protected]. We review every report and remove content that breaks our Terms of Service.
Blocking a rider
Open their profile and tap Block. A blocked rider cannot find you in search, see you in suggestions, or send you a friend request, and blocking also removes them from your friends. You can review and undo blocks any time under Profile → Settings → Privacy → Blocked riders.
Subscriptions and billing
If you subscribed in the iPhone app, your subscription is billed through your Apple Account. Manage or cancel it in the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
If you subscribed on the web, manage it under Profile → Manage billing, or email us and we will sort it out.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself at any time from Profile → Edit Profile → Delete account. Deletion follows a grace period, after which your content is permanently removed. If you cannot get into your account, email us from the address you signed up with and we will handle it.
A note on safety
INVIA shows you what is mapped, not what is currently passable. Gates close, washouts happen, and access changes without notice. Ride within your limits, tell somebody your plan, and carry what you need to get yourself out. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly. INVIA is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help.
